The TAJ Taal Kutir Convention Centre is recognized as the “LARGEST CONVENTION CENTRE OF KOLKATA”. The Challenge
As the “LARGEST CONVENTION CENTRE OF KOLKATA” , the project required extensive glazing for both internal and external applications, along with high-performance aluminium doors, to create a grand, welcoming, and highly functional space capable of accommodating large gatherings. The sheer scale and the need for seamless integration of various glazing elements posed a significant logistical and design challenge.
Glastal’s Solution
Glastal Engineers delivered comprehensive glazing solutions for both the “internal and external” areas of the convention center, alongside “High performance aluminium doors”. The external glazing was designed to maximize natural light and create an inviting aesthetic, while internal glazing contributed to space division and visual flow within the vast complex. The high-performance aluminium doors were selected for their durability, ease of use, and ability to handle high traffic volumes typical of a convention center. Glastal’s execution ensured that all elements contributed to the center’s functionality and its status as a premier venue.
